Biography

SILK-IN

SILK-IN is an Estonian DJ and producer working somewhere between melodic house, progressive and melodic techno. Founder of the international radio platform PCR.fm, closely tied to the Oxytoxy label and a resident DJ at Ibiza Club Radio, he builds emotionally driven sets around atmosphere, storytelling and progression.

SILK-IN is an Estonian DJ and producer whose music sits somewhere between melodic house, progressive and melodic techno, less about the genre than where it takes the room. His sets are built on atmosphere, storytelling and musical progression across a whole night rather than a single peak.

His route to the booth was an unusual one. After more than 25 years in international business and an earlier career as a professional footballer, he chose to dedicate his future entirely to electronic music, and in a short space of time has built a genuine international presence through original productions, performances and collaborations across the industry.

Away from the decks, SILK-IN is the founder of PCR.fm, an international electronic-music radio platform that connects more than 1,500 DJs and producers worldwide. He works closely with the Oxytoxy label and is a resident DJ at Ibiza Club Radio, and through his Week Breaker radio show and rooftop series he gives a stage to guest artists from across the melodic-techno world. His sets have carried him from Tallinn rooftops to Ibiza, Goa and Istanbul, and to clubs and festivals across Italy, with his debut single Waterflow marking the start of his own catalogue.
